This Thailand travel blog is a repository of all the blogs I have written on the destination – including useful travel tips, destination guides, visa details and more.
Unlike other travel blogs that usually talk about beaches and the islands, I have covered more about the north and central part of the country, and hence bringing to you an offbeat side of Thailand.
The mountains in the north are where you will find more culture and tradition. In the middle bit, you will find many small villages and temples. So if you want to explore the real Thailand, skip the party towns of Koh Tao and Koh Phiphi and Ko Phangan in the south and head to the north.
Most people travelling to Thailand visit only the capital town of Bangkok. It is by staying in Bangkok and doing a few day trips one can explore everything that the country has to offer. Visit Bangkok to Amphawa for floating market, Bangkok to Maeklong for the one of its kind train market, Bangkok to Ayutthaya for temples and Bangkok to Pattaya for beaches.
The mountains in the north are moreover popular for motorbiking and road trips. Visit the town of Pai (from Chiang Mai) to explore beautiful landscapes.
Anyway, let’s read the following Thailand travel blog and see what this tiny little country is popular for. From city guides to travel costs to visas, these blogs will answer all your questions. Since it was a budget trip for me, the articles below will make more sense if you are planning a similar low-cost budget trip.
