In this Austria travel blog page, I have made a repository of all the articles I have written on the destination. I have been there once and have explored only Vienna. But I am soon planning another trip and intend on covering the famous Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz, among a few other places.
The first time I travelled to Austria, I was on a 2 month backpacking trip across Europe and only had a few days to spend in Vienna and get a quick feel of the country. And however little of it I explored it, I loved it.
Out of all the European cities I have been to, Vienna remains my favourite city (you can read about it in the Austria travel blog shared below). From a royal feel to an amazing nightlife to great food and coffee culture – it has something for everyone.
Since the country has such a rich culture and history, I believe one needs at least a few months to understand the country well. It is, therefore, I am planning a one-month trip to Austria soon and explore more of what it has to offer.
I would also like to explore the alps, other than just the cities. I have heard some of the best ski resorts in Europe can be found nowhere else but in Austria. So yea, coming winter, it is going to be Europe again and a bit more of what I have always wanted to explore more there – the tiny landlocked country of Austria.
