Category: Hong Kong Travel Guide

This Hong Kong travel blog page is a repository of all the articles I have written about the destination.

I happened to visit Hong Kong during a media trip with Cathay Pacific airlines. I was invited as a travel journalist to try their Cathay Dragon fleet of aeroplanes and do a personal analysis on it.

It was a self-planned trip where I was asked to create my own itinerary and travel around the way I fancy – and just like most Indians, I loved it. Before getting there I always thought travel travelling in Hong Kong is all about experiencing a busy city-life with nothing more than impressive skyscrapers surrounding your view. But I was wrong. There is much more to see and do there than just city life.

There are more than 10 hiking trails in Hong Kong with a beautiful expanse of hills and sea, this includes the Lantau Trail, the Maclehose Trail and the Wilson Trail and others.

Other than hiking, there are many other things to see and do there. Food, for example, remains another highlight. From Dim Sums to Fish Balls to Dumplings, Hong Kong is any foodie’s heaven. It makes even the most uninterested foodie (the description fits on me too) want to eat more and more.

To speak more on the topic and give more reasons why I loved this country, here is a list of all Hong Kong travel blog I have written so far. From travel itineraries to useful travel tips, these blogs are going to help you plan your Hong Kong trip bigger and better.
